Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are being actively implemented in the Moscow region to control construction processes. The "Digital Foreman" system, launched in 2024, has already helped to put 150 facilities into operation on time. It currently monitors the operation of more than 300 construction sites.
Neural networks analyze the situation at the facilities in real time. If the algorithm detects a problem, such as a shortage of workers or a lack of safety helmets, a task is automatically created for verification. After confirmation of the violation, the responsible persons are obliged to quickly eliminate it. The Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, reported that more than 1.7 thousand shortcomings have already been corrected in this way.
One striking example of the application of this technology is the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital in Balashikha. AI monitors the number of equipment and specialists on the site, compliance with safety rules and other important parameters.
Digitalization has greatly simplified bureaucratic processes. The number of refusals to issue construction permits has decreased from 70% to 30%, and the approval time has been reduced from three years to eight months. The Construction Assistance Center, which has been operating since 2017, has already formed more than six thousand roadmaps with the help of neural networks.
In the near future, artificial intelligence will also be used in shared construction. The new "Neuroinspector 2.0" system will analyze project documents, check their completeness and correctness, and create individual inspection programs. The innovation will reduce the document processing time from four hours to several minutes and minimize errors associated with the human factor.
