It is assumed that practical work on removing critical mechanisms and components from the submarine will be carried out at one of the enterprises of the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center, and the work may take several years.

"Dmitry Donskoy" is a heavy nuclear-powered strategic missile submarine, the largest strategic submarine in the world.

It was launched in September 1980, and in December 1981 the cruiser joined the Navy. In 2002 and 2008, it underwent repairs and modernization.

The submarine was re-equipped for testing the "Bulava" missile system, for which a new launch cup was inserted into one of the silos for R-39 missiles with a launch weight of 90 tons for the significantly smaller "Bulava" missile.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the first footage of the flight of the latest "Geran-2" at a great height has appeared.
