Artificial intelligence will soon be able to determine with an accuracy of up to 90% how full garbage bins are and promptly report the need for waste removal. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, Denis Butsaev.
Currently, we widely use artificial intelligence to assess the fill levels of garbage bins. There are nuances related to the accuracy of image recognition and the assessment of the amount of waste, but the developments made at the beginning of the year have already been significantly improved by now.
According to him, the recognition level will soon increase from 85% to 90% and higher.
Artificial intelligence is already used to monitor the condition of landfills and control bird congregations. The Deputy Minister emphasized that all technologies used are entirely Russian developments.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that in two to three years, artificial intelligence will handle most requests from Russians to support services. More than 50 Russian companies are already testing virtual assistants that can not only answer standard questions but also analyze requests, quickly find solutions in documentation, and conduct dialogues.
