Civilian developments need to be quickly integrated into the military sphere, to combine the civilian and defense sectors. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. According to him, we should move away from dividing companies into purely civilian and defense-industrial ones.
In the modern world, there is less and less separation between the defense-industrial complex and civilian sectors of the economy; in some countries, there is no difference at all.
According to him, it is necessary to ensure technological effectiveness at all stages: from development and production to providing specific military units. He called for continuous analysis of technological and organizational innovations.
It is necessary to achieve the integration of the defense-industrial complex with the civilian sector, to establish the production of dual-purpose products.
