NPK "Avtopribor" is launching the production of electric motors for hydraulic pumps for ABS and ESP systems in the Vladimir region. This was reported by the press service of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF).
Total investments in the project will amount to 1.2 billion rubles. The company's project meets the objectives of the "Auto Components" program: it is aimed at producing high-tech products that are in demand by Russian automakers and have a high degree of localization.
It is planned to organize the production of up to 500 thousand electric motors for hydraulic pumps for anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and electronic stability programs (ESP) annually, as well as up to 350 thousand electric motors for the cooling fan of internal combustion engines (ICE). In the future, the annual production volume is expected to increase to 1 million units of each type of product.
The products will be manufactured mainly from domestic raw materials and materials — the level of localization will be up to 90%. Production facilities will be located at the existing site of "NPK "Avtopribor" in Vladimir, where electric motors for the heater fan and gear motors for windshield cleaning systems are already produced.
The customers of the components will be other manufacturers of auto components — "NAMI Innovative Components" and NPK "Avtopribor-Tolyatti", which will use them as part of finished products for the assembly lines of the AvtoVAZ, Haval and Chery plants.
The governor of the region, Alexander Avdeev, noted that the implementation of this project will create high-tech production in the Vladimir region and will contribute to import substitution.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the production of ESC and ABS systems will begin at the former Robert Bosch Samara plant.
