The strongest flare in a month occurred on the Sun on the evening of June 15. This was reported by the solar astronomy laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The epicenter of the explosion is located in area 4114, which faces the Earth.
The largest flare in June has just occurred (preliminary score M8.5) in the zone of direct impact on the planet.
If the mass ejection is confirmed, there will be a direct impact of matter on the Earth. This will be approximately the same angle from which the emissions occurred last month. They led to a G4 magnetic storm, the scientists noted.
