A collector from the Czech Republic has put up for sale a car unique to Europe - the first production GAZ-24 Volga of 1972 in museum condition. Mileage - only 22 kilometers.
In 1972, this representative Soviet sedan entered service in the personnel department of one of the departments in Brno. Then it was acquired by a private collector. The white body looks impeccable. The bright red interior is made of high-quality materials.
This car will be an excellent exhibit for a car museum or a decoration for a private collection. Under the hood is an original 2.5-liter carburetor engine with 95 horsepower. It works in tandem with a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
The owner promises to transfer to the new owner not only the car, but also an extensive collection of technical literature on the maintenance of the Volga. Also included are a variety of rare new spare parts, produced back in the USSR.
The owner wants to sell his unique GAZ-24 for 19,500 euros, which at the current exchange rate is approximately 1,750,000 rubles. In Russia, these cars are also in demand, and some specimens are sold even more expensive than Czech models.
Earlier in Berlin, a rare car Volga GAZ-24-10 1987 was put up for sale. The car's mileage is only 14.5 thousand kilometers.
