The Russian arms concern "Kalashnikov" has developed an individual first-aid kit for fishermen and hunters. It will be shown at the VI Specialized Exhibition "Equipment" in Moscow, which will be held on June 10-11. This was reported by the press service of the concern.
The new product is based on the first echelon of a promising individual first-aid kit for military personnel (APPI) and contains medical devices that have proven their high efficiency in combat conditions.
The kit includes a QuikMed kaolin hemostatic bandage with an X-ray contrast Z-fold strip. Its effectiveness has been proven during tests conducted at the FGBU "GNIII VM" of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
In addition, the first-aid kit includes an individual dressing package based on a 2 m long elastic self-adhesive bandage with a kaolin pad and a tourniquet-type hemostatic tourniquet.
Kalashnikov's new development - Quik&Melts caffeine in lozenges, which instantly restores energy in case of loss of strength, has also been added to the medical kit.
