Sales of Moskvich cars in Russia in May 2025 decreased by 17.9% (to 1.4 thousand units) compared to last year. This was reported by the automaker's press service.
The company clarified that 1,748 Moskvich cars were sold in May 2024. The bestseller of the automaker remains the Moskvich-3 model. 924 such cars were sold then.
Despite the low demand in the market, the manufacturer has started mass production of the new seven-seater Moskvich 8 crossover. Sales of this model start on May 26, 2025.
