Космическая гонка продолжается: российскую орбитальную станцию планируют использовать для туристических миссий

ROS will be deployed in near-Earth orbit between 2027 and 2033

The prospective Russian Orbital Station (ROS) could become an important platform for the development of space tourism. This was announced by the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, at the tenth conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR).

Instead of the ISS, there will be a Russian Orbital Station, where we also plan to develop tourist missions.

Currently, Russia is working on the creation of ROS. It is planned to be deployed in a near-polar orbit between 2027 and 2033. The first module to be sent into orbit will be the Science and Energy Module (NEM), which is scheduled to launch at the end of 2027.

By 2030, it is also planned to launch a universal docking module, a gateway module, and a base module, which together with the NEM will form the core of the station. The second phase of deployment involves expanding the station by docking two target modules between 2031 and 2033. This will create additional opportunities for scientific research and space tourism.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia is preparing to become a leader in the space race.
