At the international conference "Metrology Without Borders — 2025," the Etalon research and production enterprise (part of RT-Tekhpriemka of the Rostec State Corporation) presented a line of new industrial temperature sensors and innovative metrological equipment. The developments are intended for the metallurgy, oil and gas industry, energy and chemical industries, where measurement accuracy and resistance to extreme conditions are critical.
Among the key exhibits are high-precision temperature sensors capable of operating in aggressive environments. They are characterized by the stability of readings and comply with both Russian and international standards. An absolute black body emitter for calibrating non-contact thermometers with an emissivity of 0.996 was also presented — this is one of the best indicators in the industry. The low-inertia MTP-2MR furnace, developed for calibrating temperature sensors in the range from 100 to 1200 °C, attracted particular attention. The device is entirely of Russian production and is registered in the Federal Information Fund for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements.
The development and production of such devices is not just a response to the departure of foreign suppliers, but a conscious strategic course to strengthen our own technological base. Our solutions not only replace imported analogues, but also demonstrate high competitiveness — they are all fully developed and manufactured by domestic engineers. The products are successfully used in virtually all industries where measurement accuracy is extremely important. The participation of NPP Etalon in the conference emphasizes the company's contribution to the formation of a modern metrological infrastructure in Russia and the implementation of the country's technological sovereignty course.
The conference also discussed the development of metrological education and the training of engineering personnel. Participants emphasized the importance of domestic technologies to ensure the independence of industry.
