The Sapphire grenade launcher complex was presented at the MILEX-2025 exhibition.
This complex belongs to the class of rocket-propelled grenade launchers and is designed to combat armored vehicles, defeat enemy manpower (in bunkers, light shelters and other structures).
Technical characteristics of the Sapphire grenade launcher complex:
- Maximum firing range — 1000 m.
- Sighting range — 500 m.
- Product length — 750 mm.
- Weight — 4.5 kg.
- Product caliber — 61 mm.
Sapphire is equipped with two types of warheads — high-explosive fragmentation and cumulative fragmentation. It includes a programmable explosive device that provides two modes of operation: "contact" (instant target destruction) and "trajectory" (detonation in the air for a pinpoint strike on shelters).
To increase the density of fire, it is possible to fire a cluster of up to four products (up to 20 grenades in one volley). The cluster arrangement provides both salvo firing and sequential firing.
