According to insider public Avtograd, the first presentation sample of Lada Vesta NG Sport has already been assembled at the facilities of the subsidiary Lada Sport. The car is made in an aggressive design - a red body on black wheels, which emphasizes its "sporty" character.
The nearest major event where the premiere may take place is the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), which starts on June 18. Earlier, RCI News reported on a possible start of sales as early as June, but experts doubt such deadlines. More likely, the forum will present a concept or pre-production version, and commercial deliveries will begin later.
The top version of Vesta Sport will receive a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 145 hp in tandem with a 6-speed manual gearbox of Chinese production. This is a significant improvement compared to the basic Vesta NG (122 hp) and a step towards more dynamic characteristics.
AvtoVAZ is gradually expanding the lineup, adding sports and cross-versions. Within the same SPIEF, the premiere of the new crossover Lada is expected, which may mean a strategy of simultaneously launching several new products to strengthen market positions.
