Import substitution is stable: FSO switches to Russian-assembled Sollers ST6 pickups

The FSO's vehicle fleet received 40 cars with Toyota roots

The Federal Security Service (FSO) has purchased a batch of Sollers ST6 pickups. The fleet was updated with the purchase of 40 vehicles manufactured in 2023–2024.

The Sollers ST6 is a version of the Chinese JAC T6 pickup from 2015 adapted for the Russian market. Initially, the model was assembled in Vladivostok, but later production was moved to the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

Technically, the pickup copies the JAC T6, which is built on the basis of the Toyota Hilux with a frame and front suspension unified with the Land Cruiser Prado. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque, working in tandem with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The drive is a part-time all-wheel drive with a downshift, and the rear axle is a solid axle with leaf springs, which provides a carrying capacity of up to 900 kg.

The equipment includes airbags, ESP stabilization system, heated front seats, air conditioning, cruise control and 17-inch alloy wheels. The base price of the Sollers ST6 is 2.73 million rubles, but with discounts it can be reduced by almost 250 thousand rubles.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Sollers rewrote prices for ST6 and ST8 pickups.
