The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) will soon receive a modernized version of the Su-57 fighter. This was reported by independent military analyst Dragolyub Bosnic.
According to him, after the upgrade, the fighter will be designated Su-57M1 and will essentially become a sixth-generation fighter.
The aircraft features increased maintainability and reliability, it is easier to control in flight, and there are fewer problems in terms of logistics.
The analyst noted that another crucial element of the modernized fighter will be the AL-51F1 engines. Bosnic recalled that the aircraft is currently equipped with AL-41F1 engines, which provide the Su-57 with all the necessary characteristics, but the new engines are much better.
First of all — traction indicators, excellent fuel efficiency, and some other key parameters.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the world's largest Mi-26T helicopter was deconserved after 12 years of storage.
