The company "Elron" presented at the "Priborium" forum a robotic complex designed to replace Lego robotic kits, which are no longer supplied to Russia. The development includes a programmable car and a remote control compatible with the open Arduino platform.
The basis of the complex is domestic electronics. The device uses a board with the MIK32 "Amur" microcontroller — the first fully Russian chip of this class. This allows schoolchildren and students to study microelectronics using local technologies, programming the robot to perform tasks. The car can be disassembled like a construction set, which develops engineering skills.
Compatibility with Arduino opens up wide possibilities. The platform supports the creation of a variety of projects — from simple devices to complex robots and CNC machines. The remote control is equipped with a radio communication module that can be adapted for other gadgets.
The developers emphasize the educational potential. The complex will fill the gap in schools after Lego's departure. Children will not only be able to assemble robots, but also understand how domestic microelectronics work.
