Одноплатный компьютер на процессоре «СКИФ» разработан ООО «Элрон»

Novosibirsk development replaces Raspberry Pi and is focused on machine tool building and industrial production

Elron has introduced a new single-board computer based on the Russian «SKIF» (Scythian) processor. The device is designed for industrial applications, including machine tool building, instrument engineering, and mechanical engineering. Anastasia Brungardt, Deputy Director of the company, noted that the development provides a high degree of localization and reduces dependence on foreign analogues.

Single-board computer based on the «SKIF» processor

A single-board computer is a compact computing device that includes all the main components of a regular computer on a single printed circuit board. These computers are commonly used for various projects, including embedded systems, prototype development, and training. They can perform various tasks, from simple calculations to industrial operations.

The Russian computer is equipped with a «SKIF» processor with a clock frequency of 2 GHz, developed by SPC Elvis on the ARM architecture. The device has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of non-volatile memory. The board supports Linux and is compatible with domestic operating systems. Among the interfaces are connectors for power, network connection, audio, and video output.

This is a replacement for Raspberry Pi. This is a Russian SKIF processor manufactured by Elvis. We produce the board entirely in Russia at a plant in Novosibirsk. Thus, greater import independence is ensured. It can be used in industry, in particular, in machine tool building, instrument engineering, and mechanical engineering.
Anastasia Brungardt, Deputy Director of Elron, the developing company

According to the developers, the new product is an alternative to the British Raspberry Pi. Unlike the Chinese mini-computers, which Elron also produces, the Russian version does not have a module for working with artificial intelligence but provides complete production localization.
