A GAZ-31029 "Volga" sedan from 1993, in the 051 modification, has appeared on the market of collectible cars. It is one of the few surviving models with unique technical and design features. The car, with a mileage of 25,000 km, is located in Nalchik and has retained its original exterior, interior, and components.
The 051 version differed from the standard versions with a colored velour interior in a blue shade, a torpedo from the early GAZ-3102 model, as well as a 5-speed gearbox and a "Chaika" rear axle, which increases the reliability of the design. The package is complemented by alloy wheels, which are rarely found on production models.
The body has retained its factory white paint without any signs of corrosion or repair. The interior retains the original pile carpets, and the seats and panels look like new, despite their age. According to the owner, the car has not been restored and is still equipped with its native 2.5-liter ZMZ-402 engine with 90 hp and rear-wheel drive.
The seller estimated the rarity at 750 thousand rubles — an amount comparable to the cost of a new Lada Granta in the basic configuration. This high price is explained by the rarity of the model and its collectible value.
