The Russian company "Malt System" has developed the country's first arbitrary waveform generator with a sampling rate of up to 30 GSa/s and an instantaneous bandwidth of up to 15 GHz. This puts the device on par with products from leading global manufacturers — Tektronix and Keysight (USA).
The new product, presented at ExpoElectronica 2025 in Moscow, is designed for testing microwave equipment, radar systems, optical telecommunications, and debugging high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe). Unlike foreign counterparts, MaltAWG30 offers full software openness for user modifications. The lineup includes seven models — from OEM modules for integration into measurement systems to multi-channel devices. In addition to generating standard waveforms, the device supports the generation of complex non-periodic sequences.
Until now, such solutions were absent in Russia, forcing companies to rely on imports.
