The "Poplars" Have Rumbled: A Unique Intercontinental Missile Was Driven Through the Streets of Sterlitamak

Footage of the combat system went viral on the Web

A launcher for the Topol mobile ground-based missile system (PGRK) of strategic importance has appeared on the streets of Sterlitamak. The footage appeared on social networks.

Apparently, the missile system was preparing to take part in a solemn parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War at that moment.

Topol is a single-unit three-stage strategic solid-propellant missile. The firing range is more than 10,000 km. The exact power of the nuclear warhead is not named, but according to data from open sources, it is included in the megaton class of nuclear warheads

The missile's flight is controlled by sustainer engines running on solid fuel and providing rapid acceleration, reducing the missile's vulnerability in the initial stage of flight.

Auxiliary engines and modern control systems allow maneuvering during flight, making the trajectory difficult for the enemy to predict.

Earlier www1.ru reported that The Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system will be able to launch more missiles to destroy drones.
