A launcher for the Topol mobile ground-based missile system (PGRK) for strategic purposes was spotted on the streets of Sterlitamak. The footage appeared on social networks.
Apparently, the missile system was preparing to participate in a solemn parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War at that moment.
"Topol" is a single-unit three-stage strategic solid-propellant missile. The firing range is more than 10,000 km. The exact power of the nuclear charge is not specified, but according to data from open sources, it is included in the megaton class of nuclear warheads
The missile's flight is controlled by sustainer engines operating on solid fuel and providing rapid acceleration, reducing the missile's vulnerability in the initial phase of flight.
Auxiliary engines and modern control systems allow maneuvering during flight, making the trajectory difficult for the enemy to predict.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Pantsir-S1 SAM system will be able to launch more missiles to destroy drones.
