A retro GAZ M-1 car from 1939 has appeared for sale in Tyumen. The owner valued the car at eight million rubles.
The car's mileage is five thousand kilometers. It is registered with the modern authorities. The car is in full working order. The price is eight million rubles," the ad says.
According to the seller, the car is in its basic configuration and has not been in any accidents. GAZ M-1 (popularly known as "Emka") is a Soviet passenger car. It was produced in 1937–1943, replacing the GAZ-A on the assembly line. Soviet engineers refined the design for local roads, climate and the requirements of the era.
In Stalinist times, the "Emka" cost about 10 thousand rubles. Only directors of large enterprises and officials could afford such a car.
Earlier www1.ru reported that unique shots of the Soviet ZAZ "Sport 900" coupe, which has survived to this day, have appeared.
