Prototype of a digital twin of infrastructure management systems to be prepared by the end of June 2025

Scientists from Novosibirsk State University have begun developing the region's first service for preparing for the heating season based on artificial intelligence. The project will be implemented in the science city of Koltsovo near Novosibirsk.

Employees of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Novosibirsk State University have started creating a digital twin of the infrastructure management systems of the science city of Koltsovo. The first project, a prototype of which should be presented in the summer of 2025, will be a digital assistant for preparing the science city's communal services for the heating season.

As emphasized at the university, problems in the housing and communal services sector are relevant for all municipalities in Russia. After the developed solutions are tested on the infrastructure of Koltsovo, they can be offered for implementation in other settlements. The assistant will help prepare for the heating season: monitor the implementation of all necessary protocols, including collecting information and оформление documentation.

Specialists also plan to implement a system for monitoring the condition of the heating system and predicting possible аварийных situations and heat leaks. This will be done through integration with a digital assistant. This approach will significantly improve preparation for the heating season and its conduct.

It is planned to complete the development of a prototype digital assistant by the end of June. In the summer, municipal enterprises of Koltsovo will be able to test it and give their assessments.

Earlier, a group of scientists from Novosibirsk State Technical University developed an algorithm that analyzes the operation of lifting mechanisms and identifies potential malfunctions in elevators. The technology has been successfully tested and is ready for implementation.
