Aurora LNG Spassk-Dalny (resident of the free port of Vladivostok) is starting the construction, commissioning and operation of a small-tonnage complex for the liquefaction of natural gas (LNG) on the border between Russia and China. This was reported by the press service of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).
The complex will include two production lines with several technological units.
Denis Vorobyov, General Director of Aurora LNG LLC, noted that the expansion of LNG production and the creation of refueling infrastructure on the Ussuri highway will provide fuel to motor transport enterprises of Primorye and export terminals on the border with China.
Modern high-tech small-tonnage production will be the third project of the Aurora LNG group in the Far East. In 2024, the company launched a natural gas liquefaction complex as a resident of the Primorye advanced development territory, and in 2025 completed the construction of the second complex.
Earlier www1.ru reported on how many years it will take Russia to build a domestic gas carrier for LNG from scratch.
