A GAZ-21 "Volga" from 1969 is up for sale in Kazan. This car has traveled only 7,000 km in 56 years of operation.
The seller reported that the car was purchased for a project, but it was not possible to implement the plan. Now the cost of the "Volga" is 350 thousand rubles.
The GAZ-M-21 "Volga" was produced at the Gorky Automobile Plant from 1956 to 1970. This car became the "successor" to the GAZ-M-20 "Pobeda" model.
According to one legend, the design of the hood "with a star" arose due to the fact that the original version at the viewing in the Kremlin after testing was not liked by Marshal Georgy Zhukov. After that, it was decided to give the car a pronounced "party look" at the expense of the star on the radiator grille.
