Took Berlin 45 More Times: Caviar Presents a Customized IPhone 16 for the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

The titanium smartphone received a PVD coating and decorative inserts made of jewelry alloy with 24-carat gold plating

The Russian company Caviar has introduced a special version of the iPhone 16 Pro called "Taking Berlin." The creation of the custom smartphone is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

This unique smartphone is made of titanium with a PVD coating, and its decorative inserts are made of jewelry alloy with 24-carat gold plating. They symbolize the key cities through which the Red Army passed on its way to Victory - Moscow, Kyiv, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna, and Berlin.

The central element of the design is the scene of raising the Victory Banner, inspired by the legendary photograph of Soviet photojournalist Yevgeny Khaldei, taken on the roof of the Reichstag in May 1945. This shot became one of the most recognizable symbols of Victory and is immortalized on the smartphone's body in the form of a three-dimensional bas-relief. Fragments of the map of the Berlin Operation are engraved on the titanium surface of the device's body.
