Стала известна точная дата начала сборки Lada Iskra

In the first weeks from the start of production, it is planned to produce 11 cars per day

Assembly of the new Lada Iskra model will begin on May 12 after the conveyor modernization is completed, and car prices will range from 1.2 to 1.8 million rubles. In the first weeks of mass production, it is planned to produce 11 cars.

After the ceremonial launch of assembly on April 19, production was limited in the following days — on Monday, April 21, 5 cars were assembled, on Tuesday and Wednesday — 3 each, and on Thursday and Friday assembly was not carried out.

The number of defects on the assembly line has decreased to 15–30 per car. Among them are sunken window frames, spoilers, problems with the fit of the upholstery and the junction line of the headlight with the wing, as well as spontaneous activation of the radio. These defects will be eliminated in the final sections before the cars are sent to customers.

The modernization of the conveyor will begin on April 28 and will last until May 11. During this period, the staff will be engaged in household work, and then a corporate vacation will follow.

The Iskra model itself is an updated version on the Logan 3 platform, which promises to be a worthy competitor for both the cheaper Granta and the more expensive Vesta. In the basic configuration with ABS, stabilization system and two airbags, the price of the car will be 1.2–1.25 million rubles. The top version with a variator will cost about 1.5 million rubles, and the Iskra SW Cross will cost about 1.7–1.8 million rubles.
