Cryptocurrency exchange for super-qualified investors to appear in Russia

The Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank want to bring cryptocurrency transactions out of the shadows

The Ministry of Finance of Russia, together with the Central Bank, are launching a cryptocurrency exchange intended exclusively for super-qualified investors. This was announced by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at a meeting of the Ministry of Finance board at the Russia National Center.

The minister emphasized that this initiative is aimed at legalizing crypto assets and bringing operations with them out of the shadows.

There will be legalization of crypto assets, bringing crypto transactions out of the shadows. Naturally, not within our country, but those transactions that are currently being carried out within the framework of the experimental legal regime.

Deputy Finance Minister Ivan Chebeskov added that the Ministry of Finance actively participated in the development of proposals regarding cryptocurrency transactions for qualified investors.

This step opens up new horizons for investors wishing to legally participate in the crypto market and contributes to the formation of a more transparent financial environment in the country.
