Two new industrial technology parks, Pobeda and Promyshlennik, are planned to open in the Orenburg region, according to Alexey Sharygin, the region's Minister of Industry and Energy.
The Pobeda technology park will focus on reverse engineering of foreign analogues (import substitution). Promyshlennik will focus on the production of metal structures and metal processing. These initiatives are part of a strategy to develop local industry and reduce dependence on imported technologies.
In 2024, the region launched the Mashtab technology park. It employs two residents involved in the production of ferroalloys and master alloys based on chromium and nickel. The technology park plans to launch a project to produce metallurgical silicon.
Interaction with scientific centers will allow us to introduce new materials into industrial production in the future.
