How to come up with and not forget passwords: Kaspersky Lab shared an interesting method

A survey showed that 88% of Russians do not remember their passwords

Kaspersky Lab specialists conducted a study for World Password Day. They surveyed Russians and found that 88% of respondents forget their passwords, another 16% regularly lose access to their accounts, 37% do so sometimes, and 35% rarely do.

The company's experts emphasize the importance of proper password storage. Instead of writing them down on paper or creating screenshots, it is recommended to use password managers. When using them, it is enough to remember only one master password.

Kaspersky Lab recommends using the associative method to create strong passwords. For example, you can use the first letters of words from your favorite poem or the name of a character. It is important that the associations are unique and understandable only to you.

To improve the security of accounts, you should enable two-factor authentication. This method requires entering an additional code sent to your mobile phone. Passwordless authentication methods based on biometrics or one-time codes are also popular. Implementing these recommendations will help protect your data and simplify access to your accounts.
