The «Crimea» sports car will receive a UZAM-248i engine, developed in the late 90s. This solution was proposed at the Ufa University of Science and Technology.

First and second prototypes <br>

The engine was previously installed on the all-wheel drive version of the IZH-2126 «Oda» car. The engine has a volume of 2 liters and a power of 108 horsepower. There is an electronic distributed injection system.

It is worth recalling that the «Crimea» roadster has been developed since 2013. It is based on completely Russian components. So far, two prototypes have been created. The third is under development. The project is being created at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. As part of the creation of an affordable youth car, which is the concept of «Crimea», cooperation has been established between universities to exchange knowledge and experience.

In the «Crimea» roadster, attention is paid to both active and passive safety, as well as ergonomics and production technologies of original components. In technical terms, the car mainly uses components and assemblies from AvtoVAZ.
