The Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory fined the "Magnit" retail chain for the illegal use of musical compositions. The company must pay 220 thousand rubles for copyright infringement on 12 songs.

Among the compositions for the illegal playing of which a fine will have to be paid are the popular hits "Нас не догонят" and "Лети за солнцем". The money will be transferred through the "Russian Authors' Society" to the legal copyright holders.

In addition to the main fine, the retailer is obliged to pay a state fee of 16 thousand rubles.

The exact circumstances of the use of music in stores are not disclosed. However, the fact of the violation is confirmed by the decision of the arbitration court.
