Rosel Holding Transfers Modern Equipment for Environmental Research to the University

Rosel Holding of the Rostec State Corporation has installed the innovative Palantir environmental monitoring complex at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The equipment is housed in a new educational laboratory dedicated to the study of anthropogenic impacts on nature. This was reported by the press service of Rosel.

Palantir Environmental Monitoring Complex

The laboratory will become an important base for conducting environmental research and developing domestic instruments. Students studying at the Faculty of Ecology will be able to use Palantir to identify sources of pollution and model their spread in the atmosphere.

The device analyzes the environmental situation, using special mathematical models to collect and process data on the state of the environment.

The complex was created by the Kaluga Electromechanical Plant, which is part of the Avtomatika concern. The General Director of the concern, Ivan Bratukhin, emphasized that cooperation with Bauman Moscow State Technical University is of great importance. The Rector of the University, Mikhail Gordin, added that the new laboratory corresponds to the concept of "learning through practice" and provides students with a unique experience of working with real data.

Since August 2023, an agreement on cooperation has been in effect between Bauman Moscow State Technical University and the Avtomatika concern, within the framework of which students are trained in the specialty "Computer Security" for employment at the concern's enterprises.
