В Пермском крае создадут центр обслуживания и ремонта дронов с федеральной поддержкой

The new center will become a key element of the infrastructure for civil unmanned aviation in the Urals

The Perm Territory plans to open the first technical maintenance and repair (MRO) center for unmanned aerial systems.

The new facility will handle after-sales service and regular maintenance of drones, which will become part of a large-scale infrastructure for civil unmanned aviation.

The project is being implemented with the support of federal funding — in March 2025, the region received a subsidy of 552.8 million rubles for the construction of a test site and a UAV development center.

As noted by the regional government, the creation of the center will strengthen the region's position in the field of unmanned technologies. It is planned that the facility will be engaged not only in maintenance but also in the design of components for drones. Preparatory work is already underway to organize the production of components in three key areas, which should stimulate the economy and attract investment.

The responsibility for the work is assigned to the Parma-BAS scientific and production center, which will also become part of the all-Russian network of similar institutions.
