A unique mobile control point, created on the basis of a KAMAZ vehicle, has been developed at the Moscow Aviation Center. The vehicle is designed for rapid response in off-road conditions and long-term autonomous operation.
The mobile control point is divided into three functional compartments:
- Dispatcher post with a panoramic view through a glass dome, equipped with air radio systems, weather monitors and circular view cameras.
- Mobile office with office equipment, satellite communications and a water supply system, capable of replacing a stationary flight control center.
- Recreation area with four beds, climate control and an additional seat in the driver's cab.
The development was carried out by specialists from the Moscow Aviation Center, who prepared the terms of reference and a sketch. In the future, modernization is planned: the installation of telescopic masts to increase the communication range from 15 to 70 km.
The need for such transport arose after the elimination of forest fires in the Ryazan region in 2022, where previous vehicles showed insufficient cross-country ability and weak radio communications. The new complex solves these problems, ensuring stable operation in remote locations.
Modern equipment allows you to complete the tasks, even if the team is away from the base airfield for a long time.
The technological equipment of the new command center makes it an important tool for aviation and rescue operations. Its further modernization will expand the possibilities of application in difficult conditions.
