Крупнейшие производители двигателей для ГАЗ сократят работу из-за падения спроса

Yaroslavl's "Avtodiesel" and YAZDA to Switch to a Four-Day Work Week

In the second half of the year, Yaroslavl Diesel Equipment Plant (YAZDA) and "Avtodiesel" (Yaroslavl Motor Plant, YaMZ) will operate on a four-day work week. The reason for the reduction in production from July 1 to December 31 was a drop in demand for commercial transport.

The measure is aimed at optimizing production processes, it will allow for an even distribution of workload in the current conditions and preserve jobs.

PJSC "GAZ" is the largest shareholder of both enterprises, with 79.94% of YAZDA shares and 94.54% of YaMZ.

Representatives of the plants emphasized that the decision to reduce the number of working days may be suspended or extended depending on market conditions. The issue is planned to be discussed monthly.
