A pre-production model of the Russian electric car "Atom" will make a demonstration run through the central streets of Moscow on April 27, drawing attention to Rosatom's Arctic expedition. The route of the electric car with branded livery will end at the "ATOM" museum at VDNKh.
The run is part of an information campaign supporting the "Icebreaker of Knowledge" project, in which talented schoolchildren aged 14-16 from different countries will travel to the northernmost point of the planet on the nuclear icebreaker "50 Years of Victory".
The project is also timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry and the 500th anniversary of the exploration of the Northern Sea Route. Participants will be selected in research, engineering and innovation areas, which will help everyone find their calling in high technology.
Those who do not have time to see the electric car will be able to get to know it better in the interactive zone of the "ATOM" museum at VDNKh. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the electric car, exciting performances by scientific experts and a raffle of souvenirs of the project.
