AvtoVAZ created an exclusive Lada Iskra sedan in honor of the 55th anniversary of the start of industrial production of cars. Now the car is on display in the company's corporate museum in Togliatti. This unique exhibit has already taken its place in the exhibition, which is available to employees and guests of the plant.
The peculiarity of the exclusive Lada Iskra is its design. The car's body features the names of more than 37,000 plant workers, as of the beginning of 2025. The names are printed in large font, and for ease of searching, the divisions are highlighted in different colors. This allows employees to quickly find themselves or their colleagues.
The unique Lada Iskra is located next to the white VAZ-21099, on the body of which the names of the plant's employees were also immortalized in 1991. Now, veterans of the company can see their names on both cars, and young employees can find themselves on the Iskra and their parents on the "ninety-ninth."
Mass production of Lada Iskra began on April 19, 2025. The model is built on the CMF-B-LS platform and includes more than 1000 new components. Official sales will start on July 20 of this year.
