The creation of a molten salt nuclear reactor will effectively dispose of radioactive waste. The order must be completed by June 1. The "Russian Academy of Sciences" and the state corporation "Rosatom" will take part in the development.
Earlier, the government approved Russia's energy strategy until 2050. Its main goals are to ensure the country's technological sovereignty and security in the energy sector. Ensuring the population with products and services of the fuel and energy complex also remains an important task.
