Magnetic storms of level G1-G2 are predicted on Earth in the evening of April 22. This was reported by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center.

According to him, in the second half of Tuesday, the geomagnetic field will again become slightly disturbed.

Closer to the evening of April 22, about 85% of magnetic storms of weak to medium level of classes G1-G2 will begin.

Leus added that weak disturbances of level G1 in the magnetosphere were recorded in the second half of Sunday night, but they will not become prolonged and intense until April 22.

At the moment, world forecasting centers estimate the duration of this period of magnetic storms at three days - April 22-24.
