The private aerospace corporation "New Space" has announced an investment of 250 million rubles in the "Oculus" project for radar remote sensing of the Earth. This was announced by Dmitry Matsuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The investments are aimed at developing technologies that will allow monitoring of ice conditions, oil and gas pipelines, climate change, emergencies, and geological exploration. The company plans to attract an additional 12 billion rubles to create a constellation of three spacecraft.

We have structured an investment of 100 million and planned the next step of 150 million rubles. We are confident in the market prospects and intend to actively develop technologies that will strengthen Russia's position in the field of space and commercial use of Earth remote sensing data.

In parallel, the company is working on the "Argos RSA" drone project, equipped with radar sensing technology — a method of observing the Earth's surface using radio waves. The pre-production model is expected to be released in 2025.

The development of private astronautics, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the strengthening of cooperation with state programs to achieve the goals of technological leadership are key areas for our team. Additionally, the corporation is collaborating with the Association of Polar Explorers to conduct tests of mobile radars that will monitor the Arctic territories of the Northern Sea Route.
