AvtoVAZ has presented the main characteristics and description of the new Lada Iskra model on its official website. The car will be released in three body types — sedan, station wagon, and cross-station wagon.
AvtoVAZ noted that Iskra "opens a new niche in the Russian market." The sales start date has not yet been announced, but the booklet on the lada.ru portal reveals the main characteristics.
The main focus in the materials is on the sedan in dark red. AvtoVAZ emphasizes that Lada Iskra is inspired by concept cars and "made on a global platform."
AvtoVAZ called the rhombuses and lines, as well as the unique lights and "X-shaped" headlights, the design features of Lada Iskra. The lighting equipment is mainly lamp-based, with LEDs only in the daytime running lights. Among the advantages are a spacious trunk with a volume of 500 liters, improved sound insulation, a sedan ground clearance of 170 mm, and a rigid body that provides good handling.
