UAZ "Patriot" Gets Improved Rear View Camera and Multimedia

Light sensitivity increased 50 times, and the view became wider

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has updated the UAZ "Patriot" SUV, significantly improving the rear view camera and multimedia system.

The camera now has increased light sensitivity — 0.01 lux instead of the previous 0.5 — which allows for a higher quality image in the dark. The resolution has increased from 648×488 to 720×640 pixels, and the viewing angle has increased from 130 to 135 degrees, improving visibility of the space behind the car.

The updated camera is integrated into the modernized UAZ Navi multimedia system, equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, built-in navigation and six speakers. The system received a more powerful processor and expanded memory — 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in memory. This improves the speed of operation and response.

According to representatives of the "Sollers" group, the modernization is part of a systematic effort to update the model range. In particular, the presentation of the restyled version of the UAZ "Patriot" is expected at the end of 2025. The improved camera is already installed on cars and is available at no extra charge.
