Russian Instagram* analogue closed due to non-payment of hosting

"Rossgram" failed to gain widespread popularity

The social network "Rossgram", conceived as a Russian alternative to the social network Instagram* banned in Russia, has effectively ceased operations.

The project's website is unavailable due to non-payment of hosting on Tilda — only a placeholder with a request to extend the services remains on the main page. The application in the Rustore store has also disappeared, and its latest version has not been updated for a long time.

After its launch in 2022, "Rossgram" quickly lost audience interest: the number of Telegram channel subscribers fell from 175 thousand to 34.5 thousand by April 2025. The social network team did not announce the closure, limiting themselves to a message about "technical work."

The project's financial affairs also took a sharp downturn. In 2024, the profit of Rossgram's legal entity — IT Stories LLC — amounted to only 12 thousand rubles. At the same time, "Rossgram" continues to look for investors, promising high returns.
