The High-Precision Systems holding (part of Rostec) predicted the emergence within ten years of a new armored vehicle that will combine the capabilities of two types of equipment at once — an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) with the capabilities of an airborne fighting vehicle (AFV), which can be landed.
Experts note that today there is a tendency to unify light armored vehicles. High-Precision Systems recalled that the infantry fighting vehicle was originally conceived as a landing vehicle, for example, the BMP-2 has 38 successful landings.
Therefore, there is nothing supernatural here. And yes: it is more about them merging into some kind of single machine, this may happen within the next 10 years.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov has increased the pace of machine tool production: on the path to industrial independence.
