New Russian "Voevoda" modular body armor withstood a hit from HIMARS

The "Voevoda" set includes eight modules providing body protection

The Russian "Voevoda" body armor withstood a hit from a cluster munition of the Himars multiple launch rocket system. This was reported by Alexey Koposov, co-founder of the manufacturer "Varyag".

According to him, after the shelling, 48 tungsten balls were counted in the body armor and not a single penetration, the fighter did not receive penetrating wounds.

Koposov emphasized that a modern body armor complex a priori should be modular. Modularity allows the fighter to vary the area of protection and the mass of protective equipment.

Not only its own modules, but also modules from other manufacturers can be attached to the "Voevoda". Also, the "Voevoda" is adjustable in both volume and height. Any equipment requires initial fitting to the person.

"Voevoda" is quite simple, and fitting to anthropometry is intuitive. After that, it takes no more than a minute to put on a full assault kit.
