The Svarog family of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has successfully passed military tests. The drones are designed to deliver water, food, and medicine to forward positions without risking the lives of soldiers.
As part of the project, five models of various payload capacities have been created — from 3 to 30 kg. The largest aircraft is capable of covering a distance of up to 40 km and carrying up to 30 kg of cargo. It can be controlled by an operator using digital communication or operate autonomously along a given route.
The Svarog 4T drone is an alternative to the commercial Chinese Mavic 3T. The new UAV is capable of lifting up to 3 kg of payload, which is six times more than the Mavic. At the same time, it is cheaper to manufacture and uses components used in FPV drones.
