Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov and NASA Associate Administrator Kenneth Bowersox made statements to the media following the launch of the Soyuz MS-27 crewed spacecraft. This morning at 8:57:15, the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-27 crewed spacecraft successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
The new head of Roscosmos noted that this launch was "record-breaking in terms of the number of tourists" at Baikonur, and thanked those "who came to support the guys." Today, more than 2,500 people came to the launch site to watch the rocket launch. Dmitry Bakanov also congratulated the crew on the successful docking and noted that he expects further work from the cosmonauts according to the plan.
They worked confidently... The crew is international — two Russian cosmonauts and one American. Cross-flights indicate that technology and functional tasks do not depend on politics, and we are happy to continue cooperation between Roscosmos and NASA.
NASA Associate Administrator Kenneth Bowersox expressed gratitude for the invitation and noted that he has always been impressed by the professional work of the Russian space team.

Deputy Head of Roscosmos Sergei Krikalev added that "Kenneth knows what he's talking about," since he himself once flew on both American shuttles and the Soyuz.
