The geomagnetic disturbance on Saturday morning was 5.67 units, and a magnetic storm covered the earth. This was reported by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
According to him, the cause of the magnetic storm was the solar wind, the speed of which reached 800 km/h with a norm of 350-400 km/h, and the temperature was 1 million degrees Kelvin.
The weather forecaster noted that the magnetic storm will not be long, and it will weaken by the middle of Saturday.
In the coming hours, disturbances in the geomagnetic field will weaken and the magnetic storm will stop, and the Earth's magnetosphere will remain in a disturbed state until at least midday.
