The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has uncovered a fraudulent scheme where fraudsters actively use Internet platforms to minimally recruit extras. By posting job advertisements on various online resources, scammers attract gullible citizens, offering them work in mass shootings.
Those wishing to participate in the project come for an interview, where they are complimented on their appearance, and then offered to sign a contract and an additional agreement, which in fact turns out to be a loan agreement. The loan amounts range from 50 to 150 thousand rubles, and the funds from citizens are transferred to the account of a company managed by fraudsters.
Thus, Internet platforms are becoming the main tool for the large-scale dissemination of fraudulent offers, which allows fraudsters to reach a wide audience and quickly carry out fraudulent operations.
