Ростех испытал новую компактную газовую энергоустановку АПН-18 в арктических условиях

The 18 kW unit has confirmed a lifespan of over 5,000 hours

The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) has completed the pilot operation of a new small-sized power plant APN-18 with a capacity of 18 kW.

Tests conducted at one of the gas fields in the Komi Republic confirmed the high characteristics of the unit, including its lifespan of over 5,000 hours. The unit is designed to supply power to industrial facilities and uses natural gas as fuel.

Previously, the segment of small-sized industrial power plants in the Russian market was dominated by Western manufacturers, who have left the country. Thanks to Rostec's competencies and production capabilities, Russian enterprises can now count on import substitution. The APN-18 power plant, developed by the "High-Precision Systems" holding, has been tested in Arctic conditions, which confirmed its reliability and long-term operation.

A special feature of the power plant is its compactness: the height and length are just over 2 m, and the width is less than a meter. This allows the equipment to be integrated into the infrastructure of enterprises without additional state expertise.
